MEET OUR THERAPIST

Zoe Strutt is an accredited Music Therapist (MTA) with additional training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT). She holds a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance from Acadia University (2017) and completed her Certificate in Music Therapy at Acadia in 2020.

​

Since 2021, Zoe has provided music therapy services throughout the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia, working with a broad range of populations including seniors, individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia, as well as clients with ASD, ADHD, and other neurodiverse needs. Her compassionate and client-centered approach has made her a valued presence in long-term care, educational, and community settings.

In addition to her clinical work, Zoe has been a passionate contributor to the arts community. She has served as a musical director and choreographer for local musicals, performed with community bands, and worked with the Nova Scotia Youth Wind Ensemble as both a percussion clinician and clinician director.

​

Originally from Kindersley, Saskatchewan, Zoe has recently returned to Western Canada and now resides in Calgary, Alberta. She looks forward to reconnecting with her roots, being closer to family, and continuing to build a meaningful and impactful career in Music Therapy.​
